The Canada Food Inspection Agency CFIA  is culling 400 Healthy Ostriches from the Universal Ostrich Farm in British Columbia Canada. This comes after a couple of birds caught the avian flu a few  months ago. The other ostriches have never been tested and will not before the culling execution. These birds have been healthy for 250 days and are not being used for human consumption. These bird's eggs are being used for scientific research. There is no law protecting these animals from the dumpster.  Dave Belinsky says that these animals have the strongest antibodies for H5N1 in the world right now.
