Walking to Our Lady Star of the Sea from Furama Resort Danang to My Khe Beach is easy, safe and great exercise. Walking along the Coast sea shore is a memorable experience. But you must wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. Because in the month of May the world was going through a heatwave. So follow what the locals have learned to do is to be ready to exercise before sunrise. The danang beach will already be busy by 5 am during the Summer hours from May to August. During the year of 2026 it has been one of the hottest year on record around the World. We experienced record temperature up to in the low 40 celcius. This Summer, Vietnam hit records along with Dubai, UAE OF 65. Below is a video of my experience on May 30 0f 2026 From 312 Võ Nguyên Giáp to Our Lady Star of the Sea is about a five minute walk located at Sao Bien Park (Star of the Sea Park), Vo Nguyen Giap Street, My An ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city, Vietnam. If you are in Danang Vietnam and visit the Virgin Mary Statue which is outdoors. Don't forget to light an incense it is free. There are outdoor masses see hours below. The Our Lady Star of the Sea is one of the holiest Catholic sites in Da Nang city, Vietnam.
