A group of about twenty beautiful Peacocks visit the Furama Danang Resort every morning. What a joyful experience to have with these gorgeous creatures around. Whenever they came around during my breakfast at the Cafe Indochine I was flabbergasted. They are the cutest things to watch as they too had their breakfast infront of the restaurant. These Peacocks are the friendliest animals I have seen. Serene to be around them and I felt surely blessed. Guests of all ages loved to film this special celebrities. During the days of the week they came out shortly after 7 am breakfast began at 6:30 am. I filmed the Peacocks many times on various days during my stay at the Furama Danang Resort. On Saturday, the Peacocks arrived a little past 7:30 am which is why I went on my search for them.
Both videos below are the same only the shorter version includes just the peacocks. The longer version is where I go live looking for the Peacocks. The man in charge of the Peacocks had told me that they live in the Lagoon area. So I take a walk to the Lagoon that morning. Although I did not find them there to my surprise I had missed them walk to the courtyard. When I arrive back to the resort courtyard a beautiful peacock was fanning her feathers or was it referred to as a train. Apparently, it is not the tail feathers, but rather the elongated upper tail covert feathers that grow from the bird's back that make up the train. The male Peacock was also making the call while it did the train.
Watching them relax on the courtyard made me feel like a guest and that I was in their home. They are peaceful creatures to be around. Sometimes a little too curious wondering around the resort lobby. One man usually often moved had to heard them out.
