Kenzo Spring Summer 2026 was presented on June 30 2025 by Artistic Director Nigo incorporating 51 different looks. The collection was performed at the iconic Maxim's restaurant in Paris. The models begin their bold walk on a long red carpet as they enter the nouveau rich venue where it is transformed into Club Kenzo. Nigo uses Italian and Japanese tailoring throughout the collection which is being described as, "the spirit of carefree summer love". This collection is for anyone who likes comfort and ease.
So what is the ambience like at Club Kenzo or better yet, what is Club Kenzo? According to company's online statements it is:
a place where cultures past, present and future are celebrated, embraced, and come together in new ways. The Kenzo Spring-Summer 2026 Collection takes cues from three cultural nexuses: Andy Warhol’s The Factory, Kenzo Takada’s Parisian studio in the 1970s, and Artistic Director NIGO’s own community spanning streetwear, celebrity, and other creative contemporaries. Taking elements from subcultures like punk and graffiti and mixing retro inspiration, quirky juxtapositions, archival Kenzo prints, and adding Italian tailoring into the mix, classics are filtered through a lens of interrogative playfulness—nothing should ever be as serious as it seems. Dressing for a night out at the club calls for making a statement, whether it’s a subversive twist or a maximal shout with an outfit. ..
..The wardrobe-crossed lovers take style cues from each other as their relationship progresses, at times blurring the lines between, his, hers, and theirs. Playful elements manifest in graphics inspired by dates at the bowling alley, and a cast of cartoon characters reflecting another unlikely love story: What happens when a tiger and a bunny get together? Perhaps a mirror of the streetwise Kenzo Guy and wide-eyed Kenzo Girl, the coupling of different worlds results in something unexpectedly exquisite—bunnies with tiger stripes. The show soundtrack by Hiroshi Fujiwara further pays homage to NIGO’s history..
Some of Nigo's designs were the pop culture trend of animal motifs and prints. A vision of what happens when a bunny meets a tiger? "Unexpectedly exquisite bunnies with tiger stripes." But that was not all, eye catching belts with words "woof" and "meow" enhanced our imagination taking design elements to another level. Lots of tops with collar bowties. Spring and Summer was in full blossom on Male models wearing red or yellow roses printed on their tops.
