More fashion designers are changing location settings for their collections. Diverse scenery has been from boats, bridges to harbors. This time the location was at a subway station.
While the vision of Chanel's Metiers D'Art came to life underground, it is not realistic but a fantasy. For the New York Subway to be full of just beautiful lavishly dressed women walking out of the train; it is something that does not seem like it would happen on a daily if not basis. Regardless, the show must go on. The show did not start with the lavish but rather with the ordinary. Beginning with a young dark long haired woman wearing a bulky sand colored sweater matched with a bulky pair of light blue jeans. She heads down the stairs to the underground of the New York Subway. The subway train whistles as it approaches the young woman. Another short black hair woman walks off out of the train wearing a black outfit with a red scarf draped around the hip. Another classy woman with a puffed hair do, wearing a red and white top and matching pencil knee high skirt with black fringe trims is seen getting off too. Many more models step off the train with synchronicity. Regardless, cheetahs were loose underground. Cheetah print jackets and split pencil skirts did not miss underground. From dangerous black leather trenchcoats, and to harmless cobalt blue velvet dresses.
