Dior Women Spring-Summer 2026 show is scheduled for 10/1/25, 7:30 AM by Jonathan Anderson which is live on October 1, 2.30pm Paris time.
For the Dior Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 Women's Collection we discovered a collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri live from Paris. It was shown in a scenography by renowned theater director Robert Wilson. The show begins with a barefooted female wearing a long sleeve loosely fitted light weight fabric a white ruffled dress walks to the center of the square shaped stage highlighted with fluorescent blue light. Total silence surrounds her as she sits on a swing. The light shines on her happy face as she is surrounded by darkness. The transparent dress now looks translucent through the brightness coming from the light above her. The place is now in total darkness as she disappears from the stage. A voice says outloud, “Once upon a time!”. The square shaped stage is now highlighted with fluorescent orange and what looks like flames shaped lights on the floor. Three entrances are highlighted in fluorescent blue. The show begins with the models walking in a straight line from the center entrance.
According to Dior’s description of the collection it :
draws on the perpetual evolution of fashion and identity, blending inspiration from the centuries and gender-crossing character of Orlando from Virgina Woolf’s eponymous novel, as well as the House’s own past creative directors and tailoring heritage, all inventively reimagined through a liberated and non-literal prism.
As well as:
For this Dior autumn-winter 2025-2026 ready-to-wear show, Maria Grazia Chiuri explores fashion as a vector of affirmation, through the prism of its metamorphoses, evolutions and digressions. Breaking free from a purely historical interpretation, the silhouettes are firmly anchored in the present, emphasizing both the functional role of clothing and the part it plays in responding to modern desires.
Initiating a fascinating journey across the ages and their sartorial references, the collection reveals a series of crinolines, shortened to better accompany movement, while bustiers and corsets are enhanced with zips and fastenings allowing to play with volume, inviting flexibility and ease.
From frockcoats to doublets via tailcoats, the jacket – in all its variations – has been reimagined with an ultra-contemporary twist. Daring all sorts of audacity, it is by turns dressed in delicately crafted velvet, embroidered horsehair – which becomes a material in its own right – but also in technical fabrics or denim, poetically unveiling the passage of time. Invoking the House’s archives, a series of white shirts – Gianfranco Ferré's signature – embellished with imposing ruffles, complete the outfits, while the iconic J'ADORE DIOR t-shirt signed by John Galliano is reinvented with precious embroidery.
And as stated from Dior.com:
A hymn to metamorphosis the Autumn and Winter 2025 2026 ready to wear line examines the transformative power of clothing and initiates a dialogue between ears.
