Dangerous Atmospheric Conditions

2017-09-27 10:30 pm

There it is again reporters reporting dangerous situations as Stunning. Asteroid coming really close is called Asteroid 2012 tc4. Just a few days ago, a huge fireball was seen in Arizona.

So in an article by phys.org, it indicates that giant meteorite impacts have triggered earth's subduction events in the past.

"Our results indicate that giant meteorite impacts in the past could have triggered events where the solid outer section of the Earth sinks into the deeper mantle at ocean trenches – a process known as subduction. This would have effectively recycled large portions of the Earth's surface, drastically changing the geography of the planet," explained lead author Associate Professor Craig O'Neill from Macquarie University. Are we under a geomagnetic Storm?  For the past two days the Earth's Sun been acting out and creating a geomagnetic Storm so damaging the Earth will be shacking. And while the Northern meteorologist such as in Michigan, announced Aurora's tonight on their facebook feeds, something bigger than the three hurricanes was brewing in the waters.

Is it safe to observe Aurora lights during a geomagnetic storm? read further

It is September 8, 2017 and already we have had meteors passing the planet earth and now at 3:00 am the biggest Earthquake 8.1 hitting the Coast of Mexico off Guatemala. So far the results have been the angry sun spitting radiation not before seen possibly what caused the 8.1 earthquake. Although not known if the Hydrogen Bomb Test that hit below the ground on September 3, 2017 may bring a whiplash and be the cause to creating an unsafer world to live in. All those factors may be contributing to an atmosphere of crazy phenomena's happening in the Atlantic Heated Ocean Water forming 3 hurricanes, Irma, Katia, and Jose.

For full details of 8.1 Earthquake strikes the Atlantic Ocean:

Friday September 8 2017, 11:43:12 UTC With the last earthquake out of more than 24 earthquake, being 62 minutes ago at 20km SSE of San Francisco del Mar, Mexico 4.8 magnitude.  Continue reading

Today Nasa says that Active Region on Sun Continues to Emits Solar Flare marking it as Sept. 8 Update – M8.1 Flare :

The sun emitted one mid-level solar flare on Sept. 8, 2017. The flare peaked at 3:49 a.m. EDT. This is the sixth sizable flare from the same active region since Sept. 4.

#Geomagnetic storms

As defined by Nasa geomagnetic storm:

A geomagnetic storm is a major disturbance of Earth's magnetosphere that occurs when there is a very efficient exchange of energy from the solar wind into the space environment surrounding Earth.

What do Geomagnetic Storms produce:

major changes in the currents, plasmas, and fields in Earth’s magnetosphere. The solar wind conditions that are effective for creating geomagnetic storms are sustained (for several to many hours) periods of high-speed solar wind, and most importantly, a southward directed solar wind magnetic field (opposite the direction of Earth’s field) at the dayside of the magnetosphere. This condition is effective for transferring energy from the solar wind into Earth’s magnetosphere.

Solar Wind Disturbances: Coronal Mass Ejections and High Speed Solar Wind Stream

The largest storms that result from these conditions are associated with solar coronal mass ejections (CMEs) where a billion tons or so of plasma from the sun, with its embedded magnetic field, arrives at Earth.

According to Nasa "CMEs typically take several days to arrive at Earth", and the "most intense storms, to arrive in as short as 18 hours."

Another solar wind disturbance that creates conditions favorable to geomagnetic storms is a high-speed solar wind stream (HSS). HSSs plow into the slower solar wind in front and create co-rotating interaction regions, or CIRs. These regions are often related to geomagnetic storms that while less intense than CME storms, often can deposit more energy in Earth’s magnetosphere over a longer interval.

What happens during a Geomagnetic Storms:

During storms, the currents in the ionosphere, as well as the energetic particles that precipitate into the ionosphere add energy in the form of heat that can increase the density and distribution of density in the upper atmosphere, causing extra drag on satellites in low-earth orbit. The local heating also creates strong horizontal variations in the in the ionospheric density that can modify the path of radio signals and create errors in the positioning information provided by GPS. While the storms create beautiful aurora, they also can disrupt navigation systems such as the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and create harmful geomagnetic induced currents (GICs) in the power grid and pipelines.

What changes occur after a geomagnetic Storm?

changes in the radiation belts, and changes in the ionosphere, including heating the ionosphere and upper atmosphere region called the thermosphere. In space, a ring of westward current around Earth produces magnetic disturbances on the ground.
